These days I tend to get more actual oppo, albeit in imaginary race cars.

I was still back in college then, but yet still active on oppo. I think it’s been 8+ years for me now.

Exclusively Assetto Corsa so far, because I’m too stingy for iRacing, and haven’t found the depth of FWD cars anywhere else (though R3E did just release the WTCR pack which I might try out). As someone who has raced FWD cars in real life, all my i ngrained instincts about what to do at the limit are backwards in RWD, so in cars like the C7.R GTLM , or the beautiful GT1 pack released by RSS this year, I tend to just spin into the gravel over and over again. While that might make for some hilarious YouTube content, it’s not as fun being the guy behind the wheel trying to set a time, so I’ve stuck to touring cars.

I have been trying to keep up with the schedule on SimRacingSystem, managing to somehow pull off a three-way tie for second place overall in the Audi TT RS championship earlier this year. M ore recently I joined the fine lads at Sim Racing Online UK for a couple of series in the SEAT Léon and the Audi TT Cup .

I wouldn’t say I’m all that serious about it now… which is probably one of many reasons why I regularly get trounced by better drivers. ^_^’

By “serious”, I mean actually taking a little time to play something like this once a week. I love racing games, but right now, I pretty much play... zero.
